Traveling to Australia

Australia is known as the 6th largest county in world. They do not have a official language, but they mostly speak English. One of the biggest things Australia is known for is the Great Barrier Reef that is off the coast of Queensland in the northeastern part of Australia.

What to Know Before You Go

There is a website that tells you on what you should know before you go to Australia. They give you great tips on what to except when you go there. The one thing that I did not know until I looked on the website is that just to get from the east and west coast it will take 5.5 hours by flight to get there and that you can not see all of Australia unless if you want to spend at least 6 months there. 

How to Get There

The really only way to get to Australia is either by boat or plane, but most people would choose to get to there by plane because it is the shortest route flying 24 plus hours. And will cost over a $1,000 round trip. If you were to travel to Australia by boat, it will take about 21 days on a cruise ship to get there and back to California.

My Point of View Ever since I was a little girl, it has been a dream of mine to travel the world, but my main goal is to go to Australia. I always wonder if they live life like we do here in the states, since our countries are so similar to each other. I also have wanted to go snorkeling around the great barrier reef because I head it is just beautiful and that you would never see anything like it unless you look at pictures but even that, can not explain it. I have heard that their kangaroos are like our deer's crossing the road. Like, at night or during hunting season we always have to look out for deer, but someone told me in Australia they always have to watch out for kangaroos because they are such a popular animal. But, overall my goal after I finish college and find a job, I want to take at least two weeks off and travel Australia and see what it is like.
